What Kinda Music Do You Listen To And Why?
There are no boundaries! And no, you don't have to pick one type of music, lol.

My Music

I listen to all kinds of music.

Classical, pop, soundtrack, sea shanties... I listen to all of them for various reasons.

I listen to classical because I'm a classical musician and composer. I listen to pop, because I genuinely like some of the pop music that exists in the world today. I listen to soundtrack music because I just genuinely like it. And I listen to sea shanties because sea shanties just hit different.

Music just do be like that sometimes. It's part of life, and I thoroughly enjoy every second pf it. Life wouldn't be the same if we didn't have music in the world.

His Smile

His smile

Is a light in

The oppressive darkness

That is our world.

Seeing the light of his smile

Keeps me going through

The world that we live in.

I miss having that connection

With the man

That would laugh at my jokes

And give me the love

I never knew

That I needed.

Seeing his eyes sparkle as he smiled at me

Made everything worth it.

I hope he finds someone

That makes him happy

And treats him better

Than I could.

Write a poem or a song for LGBTQ+ couples everywhere.
There aren't enough poems or songs for LGBTQ+ couples. So let's try and fix that. See if you can write a poem or a song for a same sex couple somewhere. Let them know that their love for each other matters.

Going Home

Going back to his love

And his touch

Is like coming home to

A ball of sunshine and happiness.

The full moon silhouettes the city

As we stand alone

In this world full of people

Off in our own world,

Seemingly quiet,

But saying more than words

Could ever convey.

introduce me to some new music!
suggest some of your favorite songs/artists/albums. I'm in search of some new content to listen to! edit: if you have any songs with people's names as the title that would be greatly appreciated, I'm trying to make a playlist :))

Emotions

Emotions.

What a fun ride those are.

I'm excited

For the start of something new,

But I'm also sad

That what I had

Can be had no longer.

This is what I've come to call

Emotional turmoil and confusion.

Having someone I could trust

As more than just a friend or a brother

Was something

That meant so much to me.

Getting that suddenly ripped away

Shattered my heart into a million pieces

That I feel that I can never

Put back together properly on my own.

Caring for someone as more than a friend

Is such a nice feeling.

I hope that one day,

I will get to have back

What I once had

But can have no longer.

Dark
Is is welcoming or is it panic inducing? How do you feel about it whether it's literal or metaphorical.

Darkness

The usual warmth and welcoming darkness

Is replaced by a dark so deep

It hurts.

I feel so lost without you.

The dark that was once my place of refuge

Is now a place

I go to cry.

My heart yearns

For the time we spent

Locked in each other’s arms

Sharing kisses

And speaking small nothings.

There are so many small things

That I wish we still shared.

The gentle, goodbye kisses when we part ways after school,

As well as the passionate, fiery kisses, away from prying eyes.

Your scent lingering on my shirt after coming home,

As well as the warmth I felt in your arms.

I hope you find someone

Who can treat you better

Than I ever could.

Sweet Cinnamon
Write a poem/prose about your sweeet cinnamon food, family, lover, or experience.

Him

The taste of cinnamon on his lips

And on his tounge

Are sweet, yet also savory.

As our lips and tounges intertwine,

I take in the gentle taste

And feel of him

With the taste of cinnamon

To add an extra layer

Of sweetness and fire.

His love for me

Is shown through

The gentle touches and kisses

That we exchange when just relaxing

And the passionate, yet firey

Kisses we exchange

While hiding from the public eye.

Being with him

Is like a never-ending adventure

Filled with ups and downs,

That I never want to end.
