So Close

The space between love and hate

The moment where we touch

The mirror seeing mirrors

And much much less (more)?!

Prayer to The Divine Mother

Oh Earth Goddess! Catalyst of self-enquiry! How could this fire burn without You?!

Crack this heart open by any means necessary.

With silence as your hammer and distance as your chisel you rip into my being until I understand what love really is!

Dispel this "I" sense and this clouded understanding of life, of love, of self.

Take me beyond words

Take me beyond me

Shatter the ideas of who I am as easily as waves crash and break against your endless shore.

The only words I'm qualified to utter:

"Thank You"

I Write:

For in writing these thoughts take flight.

Free this mind from itself. Sing the song of this heart and let it call out to other hearts scattered all over this orb of earth and water spinning through space.

Burn away what isn't real.

Rip us open so we can feel what this human life is really worth.

To inspire myself to be more of who I really am. To inspire you to be more of who you really are.

To dig into the subconscious like a miner I hack, at times furiously, searching for some deeper truth, something more than I thought I was before. A new thought wave that ripples through my entire being until I feel it in my bones and in my soul and I know that I am infinite! We are infinite!

To take a closer look at what it means to be.

To offer a thread of my heart to the tapestry of life.

To surprise myself again and again.

That is why I write.

New Again

I sit and forget who I am again

Somewhere between

Laughter and tears

Somewhere between

Love and fear

On the cusp of something

On the verge of something

On the edge of nothing

At that mysterious point where

Who I thought I was meets

Who I think I am

& suddenly I realize I am neither!

I am not thought!

I am something more

Or something extraordinarily less

I am undefined

Or I am redefining

I am All

Or I am nothing

I Am

What else to say?

I Am

I Am

I Am

Kiss

Kiss me so I disappear

Dissolving all latent fear

Hands dance lips merge

Tongue licks eyes blur

Hearts beat together with the heart of All

Burning on the edge of creation where the friction of life creates new life

Caterpillar goo

Soul awake push through

No I

No You

We are the pulse of life

Stars burst thoughts cease

I am no longer me!

We are the moment!

Kiss and we disappear...

You see someone about to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge as you drive by. What do you do?

“Sesame Oil”

I spotted her there, curiously gripping the wire and leaning out, peering over the edge in to what she thought was an end.

Flipping on the hazard lights I carelessly swerved right, cutting off a furious frantic blonde in a white Suburban. Seeing her flip me off as she laid on her horn and raced by could only make me smile. It was one of those days where nothing could go wrong and at the same time it helped to remind me that I was about to be part of quite a dramatic scene! I had better get serious...

I didn't.

Dodging traffic I made it across to the other side of the bridge. Walking towards the woman I could tell she wasn't going to jump. She had been there much too long. And the Sun was about to come out. Who jumps when it's sunny?

She watched her teardrops fall until they disappeared somewhere between water and sky.

"Leave me alone" she said glancing through her hair as I approached.

"Last one to jump is a total chicken!" I shouted as I began to undress.

Flabbergasted, she asked in a state of disbelief "what on earth do you think you are doing?"

I ignored her and continued to undress. My chest hair shimmered in the sunlight. I had applied sesame oil after my morning shower specifically for this scene, or some similar scene. It was drawing attention from traffic, or so I assumed due to the honking and whistling.

"Don't come any closer" she warned "I'm going to jump!"

"Fantastic! Me too! Do you want to hold hands on the way down? Although, may I suggest undressing. I'm worried your dress may create some wind resistance and I may end up falling faster. I want to make sure we hold hands all the way down."

"Oh my God!" She exclaimed. "I really came here to jump, this is serious! Ugh" She sat down in disgust.

I hardly ever wear boxers. And today was no exception. I sat my bare ass down on the pavement next to her.

Finally our eyes met. She looked me up and then down, realizing I was totally naked she let out a little giggle through her sniffles.

"Are we going to jump or what? I"m getting pretty chilly here." I said with a little mock shiver.

Silence for a minute. She stood up and walked a bit away. I gave her space. She was thinking hard. I just stared into the Sun, trying to soak in all the energy and warmth that it was showering across the beautiful bay. I closed my eyes and took in an epic inhale...

Fabric smacked my face. "Get up" she said "And put your clothes back on, everyone is gawking."

"My name is Scarlett" she said with a smile as she extended her hand to help me to my feet...

Remember

We know everything...

We're just having a long spell of forgetfulness...

Sometimes this thought comes that all of us, all humans, all beings have performed this show of life countless times.

Through lifetimes and lifetimes we've travelled the whole span of creation in the cosmos. We've been everything from tiny one-celled amoeba's to gigantic supernova stars. Queens and beggars. Birds and trees. Water droplets and moonbeams. A part of us knows the whole production.

And we go through the entire show of creation and evolution and right at the end scene when all of creation is on the verge of merging back into oneness, into a single Source energy, we decide, at that precise moment, despite knowing all of the effort and suffering and forgetfulness and drama that the beauty of it all is worth it!

So we do it all over again :)

Love Now

To be in love

The only goal or destination

The beginning and the end

The purpose

if we chose to believe in such words like "purpose"

How?

It is a falling

This love

A falling away of the idea of "I"

An "I" can't be in love

Love can be in love

And so we are

It requires no other being

No thing outside ourselves

Although there are those

at certain points

who may remind us

that we are love in love!

And how else could it be?

Oh to feel it more!

To burst into a billion pieces of light and fall carelessly in love with All!

Words fail

Love in love

Meet love there

And here and everywhere
