My first love
We met online and I was literally the "girl next door". Few moments later, I saw him walking to my home, and my instincts told me, "Hey, you love him!"
I responded internally with, "No, this is a stranger who lives close by. A neighbor at least, or a friend at best."
My idea of the possibilities of love at first sight is, it's based on sight! Not appearance or physical attributes, but more like "seeing" into the future, and you see them with you. Within his brief walk to meet me, the closer he came, the clearer I saw a future with him. When he finally reached me, we connected so fast, you would think we've been together for eight years then, instead of now.
Hope is Calling
A home for me and for the love of my life. A car, so I can be there for my loved ones. Attend school and achieve my career goals. Feed the hungry. Find homes for the homeless. Spend the rest of my time volunteering, or, for the first time since being an adult, go on vacation. Ideally, a substantial amount to do it all!
I am in love with you. My reasons for why I am in love with you are endless. From this sea of love, there is one reason that I am ashamed of; and I hope you forgive me for this, and I completely understand if you don't, but it is your bakery.
I avoid your bakery as often as I could, but your sweet kisses, and your smile; that warm, gooey smile. Your soft, fluffy atmosphere swirls my senses whenever I am too close. I crossed a line the last time.
I feel that I am too irresponsible to visit your bakery, but everyday I get to window-shop until your tantalizing gaze meets mine, and with kindness in your voice, you invite me to come in.
