Opinions on Halloween.

Witches, werewolves and pumpkins, that's what Halloween is about for most people. Not the fact that the barrier between the mortal world and the immortal realm is at it's weakest. Or that it has a surprisingly high rate of crime for just one night.

For me, Halloween is a time for eating shit, earning tons of calories that will probably take ages to burn off knowing my lack of exercise, and watching horror movies. Now, I'm not going to lie, some movies can scare the shit out of me. But that's what makes it fun. While in most novels I do enjoy the cliché 'girl hugs boy during horror movie because she's a wimp' I do find it rather boring sometimes. To me, Halloween is about scaring either yourself or others; as long as someone gets a fright.
