It took a little spark
to light the dead forest of his heart
and he began to rage
We could see him
and we saw cloudy skies
and felt heavy rain
No one burned
but the empty trees
the trees he refused to clear
for fear of an empty forest
But he needed space
for something new
and so we watched
through the night
How quiet now
the char and ash
as we crept through
with quiet words
We saw the blue sky
and heard the wind
little flower buds
begin to grow
I thought all I could encapsulate would be small, but I instead reflect the space around me. As far as I can go--an infinite law. Its all inside--all of it. I try on new shoes and the universe curves around my feet, and I curve in the universe contained in the shoe. I climb in bed and distort the space around me, but then time and space soon shift in my head. I exist in myself, and fit in the universe, but the universe also fits in me.
A faint sough as waves brushed across quiet sands and clouds drifted on a whisper. "Good morning." The sun stroked my eyes and my skin hummed with warmth. I gazed out across the opal sea whose oscillations brought cool waters around my heels. Around me were white sands that stretched across the planet. A cloud drifted in front of the sun and in the brief cool, the shore around me kept me warm like gentle coals. I turned my head and met her eyes. She was next to me, settled and relaxed. I blinked and the sand began to coalesce into silken sheets and the sea and sky wrapped around me to form her room. "Good morning." I said, and she smiled.
What if they all are lies?
1. I ran into Bernie Sanders two years ago at a bakery and got a picture of us. (Bernie 2016!)
2. I've competed in an international Irish fiddle competition.
3. I am 20 years older than my brother.
4. I have spent over a month backpacking through Alaska.
At first I thought the 50 limit was an upper limit. Oops. Boy its easy for this app to destroy your work suddenly. Its ok though. Hey everyone.
Or he thought he did. Before everything had happened. Before he fell in love. Before he called himself a new name, with a new past. With only a few other's knowledge, he had to sneak himself into this new life to see what he had helped to create, and what the others created before him. Now he was terrified of everyone; of the disconnect he had lived with these people. They dripped with ideology and spouted ignorance. Their entire lives were watched, but not by him.
There would be no bullet for him. He could be back behind his wall that protected him. He knew now that the walls protected him from truth. He was a god, asked for guidance and mercy, and then provided with deceit. But, like Zeus, he had to come down from Olympus and bed a mortal woman to realize what occurred on Earth.
There would be hot fire and thunder, but not for those here in the mud. It is the mountain itself that would crumble. These ministries--industries of fear and pain will fall and burn and the sun would shine again on the fields of workers. It will be done. He was Big Brother.
