How would you describe love to someone that's never heard of it?

Love is...

When I want to be alone, but with your company at my side. So when in my loneliness I know that you are there caring.

Challenge
Write about the sea in any form, prose or poetry.

Friend, guide, and lover.

Oh, old friend, you never cease to amaze me, every day I get to learn something new about you. How many times I wonder you just guided me to a new adventure? I wonder how many times you embraced me with those hugs only you can give.

Oh friend, you can be cold at times, and sometimes you even make me lose the path, yet I would never change you. Oh, cruel lover, oh I only pray that you keep loving me so that the land doesn’t claim my heart.

For my heart is hostage of your currents, and I don’t wish to be rescued. Let me forever keep travelling in your currents, and to see the marvels you keep showing my eyes with every passing day.

Challenge
Write a short love poem. The catch is that the first sentence must have seven words, and the following sentences should countdown until you have only one word for the last sentence. Basically 7 words, then 6, then 5, etc.
Love comes in numbers.

The warmth left.

Remember loving like the warm morning sun?

Remember those warm hugs of love?

Remember the warm caressing kisses?

They are now gone...

The warmth left.

What’s left?

Cold.

Sharing.

Where are my manners? Please sit by my side this night, let us enjoy together the warmth of a nice bonfire.

Isn’t it nice? I wonder how many times have we shared a bonfire with another traveler of the skies.

How many stories have been shared?

How many memories have been shared?

How many friends have you made?

How many enemies?

I don’t know how many things have been shared and how many things have been made in this particular bonfire.

But I know something.

Today I have shared my thoughts with you on this bonfire.

And hopefully you will share your story with others one day, traveler of the skies
