Traveler’s high
I believe there's such thing as traveler's high, the state of mind when one, you guessed it, travels. It is a wonderful feeling where you are fully present in the moment. There is beauty in everything and every single person that you see. You become exponentially more open minded because you know, you cannot put these experiences off for another day. You become a learner everywhere you go. Every step you make, every turn you take is an opportunity to learn something new. The joy of having your curiosity, your sense of wonder satisfied constantly is simply nothing but pleasant.
This is what I live for. It is a wonderful day to be alive.
Fifth
We went to a concert together with a mutual group of friends. Up until this point, I have never had a chance to interact with her as a normal human being. I have always been watching her from afar, making assumptions, planting those seeds of hate, just because she seems too perfect to be true. There, I discovered something about her that would completely change everything I though I knew about her.
Too fast and furious
Deep down, I am terrified of being successful, of things going too smoothly...
Imagine driving a car, or a boat, or plane or anything, and then suddenly you just keep accelerating and accelerating. And you keep going faster and faster. You cannot help but wonder "Will this take me to my destination faster, or will I spin out of control then crash and burn?" Before you know it, you start to come up with every single possibilities and scenarios on how things can go wrong. The more you think about it, the more you try to find the answer, the solution to your scenarios, the louder the voices get. "There is no way you are succeeding this easily. There must be something, some kind of challenges along the way.." And the moment your mind is completely clouded by these thoughts.
