Live!

Hands held high, feet planted on solid ground

Shout!

"I triumph!"

"You were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, comdemed, ashamed or unworthy. You were created to be victorious."

What would it take for the world to change

Some might argue a firestorm

Another iceage

An alien takeover

Some might argue the evil ones must be taken down

The good must rise

The world must be conquered a thousand times over

That's what it would take for the world to change

But who decides who the evil ones are

Who decides who's good

Who decides who must be conquered, put down, taken over

For the world to change?

No!

That is not what it takes for the world to change.

What does it take for the world to change

It takes a single person

A single person saying "I Love You."

The Blaze

It came like a flash flood

Pouring through the forest

Devouring everything in its path

Leaving ash in its wake

It seemed nothing could defeat it

It seemed nothing won against it

It started from a spark

Taking lives

Tearing families apart

Leaving tears behind

It seemed to be the worst nightmare

It seemed to be the end of it all

It burned bright and high

Dazzling hot white flames

Scorching the bottom of the aerial firefighter’s copter

Ending all hope of salvation

It seemed no one would come to the rescue

It seemed no one would survive

This blaze was bright

This blaze was hot

This blaze burned long

But as this blaze died out

New life was born

Time tears through the tide, the transient thunderstorm ticking towards the tomb, tomorrow, today, tonight, then takeoff to there, that true termination.
