Where have you been all my life?

I would most certainly not classify myself as writer. I do not know how I found you. I am excited to develop my passion for words and emotions with likeminded people.

Prose, you are something I didn’t even realise I needed. Thank you!

I also attempted to create a challenge however been a greenie wouldn’t even know if it worked.

Challenge
"Love is not a finite resource."

Whoever. Whatever. Whenever.

I see you.

I feel you.

I love you.

Like electricity, sparks envelop

and run deep through my veins,

I know exactly what comes next.

I see it.

I feel it.

I am shown your purest form.

A special place is created;

You are a supernova.

Exploding deep within my soul.

I see you.

I feel you.

You’ve imprinted in my heart.

You could a stranger.

You could be a pet.

Whoever. Whatever. Whenever.

My love is not biased.

I simply see everything

In a vastly different way.

Like breathing,

My love is a necessity.

I do not exist without them.

I see.

I feel.

I share a love for everybody.

My love for you is unique.

But an equal part no doubt -

My love is not a finite resource.

I act as your translator.

I hear your deep desires.

I want to fulfil your needs.

I see you.

I feel you.

My love for you is forever.

Why so serious?

The serious alphabet

Are you serious?

Baby, you should

Chill out sometimes.

Doesn’t it

Exhaust you?

Fore you being

Godly and

Hotheaded really

Isn’t appealing.

Just calm down.

Know that

Life doesn’t always

Mean that you

Need to have control.

Open your mind to the

Possibility that a

Quick joke wont

Ruin the atmosphere.

Smiling and not giving a

Toss, ignoring the

Urge to say

Vile comments

Will make our

Xanadu and

You won’t require a

Zipper for your mouth.

Soul Sucker

Craftily hiding in plan sight.

Behind those black eyes.

Waiting to feed on its next victim.

Thriving and growing with negative energy.

Draining the joy and love out of beauty.

Be strong little one.

Create a bubble around yourself.

Protect yourself.

And always be aware -

Those soul suckers have amazing disguises.

Surreal; Dada; Nonsense; Abstract; Opposing and Contradictory Poetry: Be Brave!
Prose has always appeared unresponsive and close-minded about Abstract and Surrealism when it comes to Poetry and Prose and even story lines. Take a chance and dip your toe in a world that doesn't make sense. Think the automatic cut-up writing of William S. Burroughs or the nonsensical natural whimsy of Captain Beefheart if you need inspiration. The most bizarre wins more then anything money could buy. They'll have won versatility and a key to the 'promise land'.

Inside the mind of a Lost Little Girl

Oh yay! There’s a log truck!

Lucky Day

Bruise from a catheter

Frozen peas squish

”I decided to post some writing”

”Why?” He responds.

CRASH!!!!

Oh yay! He is gone.

Squished by a log truck

Hope you pea(ed) yourself jerk.

The smell of wood.

A lovely perfume.

I adore saunas

Its pronounced S~OW~NAH

Not SAWNAH

Oh the irony

Guess I’ll use an axe

Empty Promises

I was told I was a neglected plant -

That I haven't been cared for properly,

I deserved to be put in the sunlight.

To bloom.

Be shown in all my beauty.

You promised so much.

I will thrive.

And grow.

Perhaps I misunderstood;

Or maybe I’m just naive.

You promised.

But you lied.

I didn’t get put out in the sun.

I was never even watered.

You put me in a dark cupboard,

with a photograph of a beautiful sunrise stuck on the door.

You promised me the world.

And here I am.

In the dark.

Slowly dying.

You promised.
