Just a brief moment
Close the window pane..
Am in pains..
As the rays of light hit my weary eyes..
I breath my Last ..
My soul elevates out of my body and my eyes wide open....
I screamed but no one answered .
My siblings came into the room to check on me, but alas all they could do was burst into painful tears as my reality stares them in the face..
Dad closed my eyes cause I couldn't anymore..
Mom collapsed cause she couldn't hear my loss..
Why are you all crying?..
Dad am right here ..Mom wake up. .Tati..is this a joke?..
My mind jolted as I saw myself lying on the bed...Am I really dead?..I ask myself..
It was dawn..and as the rays ☀️ of light penetrates my room...
I see myself staring at reality..
I was gone.

Alright, you brilliant beasts. To kick off the first $25 Weekly Challenge, we're keeping it easy and exact. Suuuure..... Most of us have been in this spot, asked the question, so we'll frame a setting. Here goes. You're on a first date with a person you met online. There's attraction there, but you're still trying to figure out if the chemistry is physical AND mental. The person across the table asks you what kind of writing you do, and when you give them a genre, they say, in one way or another, "Describe your writing to me."
